Music evangelist, champion of new sounds, superstar DJ – the one and only Annie Mac is coming to Dreamland in Margate this May.
One of the world’s most respected DJs and broadcasters, Annie Mac will be taking over Hall By The Sea Dreamland on Saturday 18th May, accompanied by special guests Krystal Klear.
Annie is the presenter of BBC Radio 1’s weekday evening show – a successor to Zane Lowe and John Peel – who has forged an enviable reputation as one of the most influential music ambassadors working today. When she isn’t warming the airwaves with her eclectic selections, she is touring the world to headline festivals and fill top clubs, including her own Lost and Found festival in Malta.
Annie will roll into Dreamland on 18th May, with special guest and radio A-list mainstay, Krystal Klear. Krystal Klear (AKA DJ Dec Lennon) will warm up the room with one foot in the disco camp and the other in house + techno, and their promise to always share dance music that makes people actually dance.
This is the latest ground-shaking gig announced by Dreamland Margate for 2019, with live sets from Happy Mondays, Craig Charles, Sleaford Mods and Dub Pistols confirmed for the summer and more acts due to be announced in the coming weeks.
The vintage Margate amusement park is forging a reputation as one of the leading independent music venues in the UK. Its year-round indoor performance spaces include the large scale Hall By The Sea and the more intimate Ballroom, as well as the much-loved Scenic Stage that hosts numerous events and Sunset Sessions in the outdoor park during the main opening season.
Tickets cost £20 + booking fee, and include entry to the amusement park and rides.
Limited VIP packages and member discounts are also available.
