Join us for a super glitzy glamorous evening of fine dining & entertainment at the Linda & Mario Garcia Pink Charity Gala Ball, in aid of Breast Cancer Now.
On Thursday 11th May, at the Ashford International Hotel, Ashford. 6.30pm til late. The evening will begin with reception drinks and entertainment from jazz singer Lisa Barrett Smith, whose magical voice, covering songs from the great American song book, will set the mood for the evening.
During the sumptuous 3 course dinner (including wine), you will be entertained by the world-famous magician, Etienne Pradier. His unique skills and charismatic personality have established him as one of the finest exponents of close-up magic.
Etienne will also be doing an after-dinner show, to keep us entertained.
Following Etienne’s performance, the amazing evening’s entertainment will continue with the fantastic Jason Allen Sway, performing tribute music of the great Michael Bublé. Voted best male vocalist at the National Entertainment Awards, Jason Allen is fast becoming one of the finest and most talked about singers in the UK.
We will spend the rest of the evening dancing the night away with the beautiful vocal duo Donna and Jo, aka “Here Come The Girls”, who specialise in performing feel-good party music to ensure a full dance floor at any event.
The evening will be co-ordinated with help of our Master of Ceremonies Barnaby Winter, with some great auction & raffle prizes up for grabs, a fun photo booth & lots lots more.
All of this has been put together with the help of the fabulous Amanda Flanders of Butterflies & Dreams Events.
Linda Garcia, Director of Alluxi Consulting Ltd, said:
“We’re really looking forward to a great evening at the Ball and we hope to raise lots of money for Breast Cancer Now’s vital research to stop women dying of breast cancer. This very worthy cause is so close to my heart having survived the disease myself, and now celebrating my 6th year of being cancer free.”
Breast Cancer Now said:
“We really appreciate this event being organised by Linda & Mario, to enable Breast Cancer Now to fund research into the causes of breast cancer and to develop better treatments. Thanks to incredible research breakthroughs, more women are surviving breast cancer than ever before, but more than 30 women still die from the disease every day in the UK. If research has the funding it needs to continue, by 2050, Breast Cancer Now believes everyone who is diagnosed with breast cancer will live.”
