A flavoursome delight of a drink that is sure to warm those winter cockles! It’s simple to make and tastes divine! Serve in mug-style glasses.
1 litre of apple juice
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg
25ml of spiced rum, (or sightly more depending on your taste) Cinnamon sticks
Fresh apple slices to make the glass look pretty!
1 Heat the apple juice over a low heat in a saucepan. Add the spices and the rum and stir well so that there are no lumps of the spices remaining.
2 Once it is hot enough pour into the glasses. Add a cinnamon stick to each glass and a slice of apple on the rim. This recipe makes enough for four servings.
