Now in its 31st year, Kent B2B is the county’s premier business networking event and this year returns to the Ashford International Hotel.

The event, run by Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, connects the biggest names in business and will see high profile speakers, exhibitors and delegates come together on Tuesday, April 25th 2017.

Last year more than 1,000 people visited the event where over 100 businesses of different sizes took stands to showcase their work, talents and network with other like-minded companies.

This year’s headline sponsor is Kent-based chartered surveyors, Caxtons, who offer a range of professional and residential properties around Kent and Medway, also sponsoring the event are KM Media Group, Wellbeing People, MacIntyre Hudson and Quinn Estates.

Companies across the county have thrived thanks to the 30 previous Kent B2B events and this year we hope to do things a little differently…

We’re introducing The Wellbeing in Business Zone, along with supporting sponsor, Wellbeing People, who will be putting on several interactive activities including the Health Kiosk; which will take a snapshot of general health: weight, body, mass index, body fat content, heart rate, etc.

Health experts will be on hand to discuss health and wellbeing requirements in business throughout the day, offering tips, advice and more to business owners, delegates and speakers.

The event is aimed at businesses of all shapes and sizes and we encourage the creation of new skill, best practice and enterprise which will act to the benefit of all.

We welcome everyone ranging across all sectors – with keynote speakers, business professionals and some inspirational workshops taking place throughout the day.

There are a variety of space packages available to exhibitors and sponsors, ranging from a simple stand to bespoke services, including digital invitations, Solus tweets, and inclusion in our event guide.

The 31st Kent B2B, in conjunction with the Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce, will take place at the Ashford International Hotel on Tuesday, April 25th.

Hear from the brains behind the UK’s top beer club and paralympic hero at Kent B2B 2017

Crowds at this year’s Kent B2B will hear from expert keynote on everything from transforming a concept into a leading brand, to how sheer grit and determination can help their business journeys.

The hottest networking event in the calendar returns to the Ashford International Hotel for its 31st year, and will welcome London 2012 Rugby Paralympic hero, Steve Brown, and Matt Lane; brains behind the country’s top beer club.

Kicking off the event will be Matt Lane, founder and Managing Director of BeerBods, which is the UK’s first beer subscription service and now a leading beer club.

After years of encouraging his friends to drink better beer, Matt started hosting beer tastings in his shed, before seeing the potential and turning his hobby into an online service now with several thousand subscribers – he launched BeerBods in 2012.

His session: ‘That’s great, but what are you really saying?’ will inspire delegates at this year’s B2B by discussing the ins and outs about how his ambitious venture took shape.

Matt will look at the other side of business and pick apart the nitty-gritty elements to focus on all things that make the company truly special and show the reason it has fans, not customers.

Matt said:
“I’m really looking forward to getting involved at Kent B2B where great companies and amazing brands will come together.

“I’m hoping that the BeerBods story will be able to inspire the delegates and get them thinking about how they can take ideas from being just concepts into a renowned business.”

The second keynote speaker at Kent B2B is Steve Brown, who captained the UK’s Paralympic Rugby team to the best achievement by a European team at London 2012.

Steve is a renowned motivational speaker and the thought provoking story of his life will move the audience; driving home the message to have courage in their convictions and never give up.

His unique style will connect with the audience, adding something different to the event, leaving the afternoon’s audience energised, inspired and refreshed, helping delegates to better understand how they can defy the odds and implement change in their own organisations.

Steve said: “My story has a lot of personal highs and lows, including the pressure of leading the team at the 2012 games and I hope that the messages of the true importance of teamwork, grit and determination will be able to help delegates at this year’s Kent B2B.”

A Kent Invicta Chamber of Commerce event, Kent B2B connects the biggest names in business and last year saw more than 1,000 people passing through the door, with more than 100 businesses taking stands.

Kent Invicta Chamber Chief Executive, Jo James, said:

“We are delighted to announce Matt Lane and Steve Brown as our two headline speakers at the 31st Kent B2B.

Regardless of the size, sector, or nature of your company, the very different, but equally inspirational, stories both men will share touch on every aspect of business growth, with a key message of being able to keep motivated and keep going.”

Free to attend, Kent B2B 2017 will take place from 8.30am at the Ashford International Hotel on Tuesday, April 25th, and is aimed at businesses of all shapes and sizes who want to showcase their work, find out about other services in the county and simply network with other like-minded businesses.
